| Life coaching takes the form of regular meetings or phone calls with your coach, three or four times a month, called coaching sessions.
The agenda for each session is set by you, the client. It may concern any area of your life. Your coach will help you to explore the issues and support and encourage you to make the changes you want. At the end of each session, you agree to commit to ‘do’ something different, or ‘be’ different. At the next session, you review your progress with your coach. In this way, you will find that you are steadily moving towards being the person you want to be, doing the things you want to do. Your coach is there for you - not to tell you what to do, but to listen to what you are really saying, ask the right questions and help you to discover the way forward for yourself. Coaching can involve making mistakes, confronting the real you, putting your preconceptions to one side, taking risks and trying things you haven’t done before - but you will discover you have the resources within you already to achieve all of this. Life coaching is confidential and you are in control of the areas of your life you wish to talk about. Contact UP! for a free initial ‘taster’ session and see what life coaching can do for you!
